Pepperl+Fuchs supplied stainless steel enclosures suitable for mounting in both safe and hazardous areas, with various sizes and layouts customized to suit the demands of the project.

The Gorgon Project uses Pepperl+Fuchs’ range of hazardous area mountable segment protectors for distributing and protecting the FOUNDATION fieldbus signals which provide the communication between the control system and field devices being installed. The Gorgon Project is operated by Chevron and is a joint venture of the Australian subsidiaries of:

  • ExxonMobil (25 %)

  • Shell (25 %)
